In its entirety without subtitles, Uccellacci e uccellini (1966), dir. by Piero Paolo Pasolini
One of Pasolini’s lighter works, but nonetheless delving deep into the subjects of religion, family, Marxism, life and death.
Part one (of eleven) of The Hours (2002), dir. by Stephen Daldry
This movie just broke my heart about a dozen times.

Kybernetická babička/The Cybernetic Grandma (1962), dir. by Jiří Trnka
(part one of three)
From idaadi.multiply.com: “[The Cybernetic Grandma is] a vision of the future in which machines and robots try to substitute themselves into the most beautiful human relationships. A cybernetic robot is supposed to substitute for the loving grandmother of a little girl. The wise grandmother, however, comes back and the girl finds the warmth of her grandmother’s loving arms again.”

Eva sweet-talks Cat after murdering Cat’s boyfriend Snake, Necropolis (1987)
So much sexy hair, so many sexy cheekbones.
Still from Necropolis (1987), dir. by Bruce Hickey
One of those obviously so-bad-it’s-amazing 80s b-movies, with an entire cast of like 8 people, completely lacking in excitement but full of witchy babes. Even a six-titted witchy babe! Hoo-dang.
LeeAnn Baker is smoldering as Eva, a zombie-nursing Satanic punk rock goddess with the hottest wardrobe I’ve seen this side of Derek Jarman’s Jubilee (1978). I rarely get style envy, but goddamn if this woman wasn’t one of the coolest b-movie stars of the east coast.
Check out the entire film on YouTube. Guaranteed eye candy, a couple snickers, and a good hour and 17 minutes of “Who does that??”

The German dubbed, English subbed version of Malá morská víla/The Little Mermaid (1976), dir. by Karel Kachyna
Seriously some of the most beautiful fantasy art direction I’ve ever seen in a film - it’s like a play, really. The costumes are so beautiful! And I love the use of slow motion and really floaty cloth to give the impression of being underwater.
EDIT: The subtitles disappear halfway through the 2nd chapter. Don’t even matter, though.
