In its entirety:
Mystery Science Theater 3000 S05E15 - The Wild World Of Batwoman
Opening with a Young American Films short on Cheating and featuring The Wild World Of Batwoman (1966) - dir. by Jeremy Warren
Of course, the feature is about as wild as a coma and has nothing to do with DC Comics.
The Rules of the Game/ La règle du jeu (1939), directed be Jean Renoir
I’m on a bourgeois kick, it seems.
This film cuts like a knife - humorous and poetic in its brilliant interpretation of a comedy of niceties. How funny that Renoir’s receiving audience - Parisian, well-off in their own right - condemned the film upon its release; how funny they seemed to play right into his commentary.
The Rules of the Game is now commonly regarded in the film world as one of the greatest films ever made, closely-ranked with Citizen Kane and Vertigo.
