Oh! I forgot to tell you guys-

I worked the Chicago Film Critics Awards this past weekend. Among my varied tasks were stuffing playbills, greeting everyone, aiding the box office in ticket location and distribution, stuffing my face with very non-vegan mini-burgers, running talent to and from the green room, finding stuff and things, escorting Dennis Farina to a press conference, shaking hands with James Earl Jones, getting hugged by Jason Segel (we might be working with him soon in some small capacity), thanking Terrence Howard for staring at my butt, having Cuba Gooding, Jr. personally introduce me to an entourage member who had offhandedly mentioned that I was beautiful, and not meeting George Lucas.

By the way, Jason Segel has to be one of the most down-to-earth A-listers in Hollywood today. His dates for the evening were a fan who wrote a song for him on YouTube, and her sister, and when he wasn’t humorously receiving his Commedia Extraordinaire award, he was busy shaking hands with just about everybody who wanted to meet him. Super-cool to witness.

Also in attendance were my father/bossman, who presented Mr. Segel’s award, and my sister, who was also helping out. It was a pretty cool evening. I wish I had photos.
